The resounding theme of the Christmas Story is found in the words, "Do not fear!" The angels repeated these words to Mary, to Joseph, and to the Shepherds. This theme was repeated in Jesus' own words throughout his ministry. God is telling us that when we experience his presence, we have nothing to fear.
