Only in Him can we find the rock that can carry both the weight of our lives, and the impact of unexpected life circumstances.

This time he is crying out to God when the circumstances of his life are out of his control. Honestly expressing our fear and confusion to God is another kind of worship, where we trust Him with the details of our lives.

The biggest promise made in scripture, the one that might be the hardest for some to get their heads around, is the promise of eternal life. Jesus promised His followers that He would return for them, and take them to be with Him forever. This promise is really about the end of death - and that means it's about the end of fear. When we face loss and pain, the power of the resurrection is available to us today.
